A charge for attempted murder can seriously impact your life from the second you’re charged. An arrest will be on your record, and your relationships, job, and freedom could all be at risk. If you’re charged with a murder, it’s wise to pursue all options before pleading one way or another in your case. It’s important that you’re treated with respect and as an innocent individual until proved otherwise, even though the media tends to draw negative attention to people involved in murder cases. For example, take the recent arrest of a 26-year-old woman who has been arrested for attempted murder after she allegedly ran a vehicle off the road.

The report from Oct. 23 states that the woman allegedly tried to run one vehicle off the road and then tried to strike one of the people exiting the vehicle. Police reported that they were called to the scene of the accident at around 11:15 a.m. and were told that the woman was attempting to flee. Police reported that the woman was charged with attempted murder during the investigation, and it is alleged that the man inside was her ex-boyfriend with a female acquaintance.

When the woman inside the ex-boyfriend’s car tried to exit, the 26-year-old woman allegedly attempted to hit her. Instead, she struck a vehicle, and she allegedly tried to leave the scene on foot before officers arrived.

This incident has led to the woman being charged with attempted 2nd degree murder, reckless driving, criminal damage to property, and driving with a suspended license. At the time of the news, she was reportedly being held with a bail set at $46,500.

In this case, you might think everything is pretty easy to understand, but it’s important that everyone’s point of view is heard before any judgments are passed. The same goes for your case, since it’s vital that you have a fair trial.
