Man accused of rape in Louisiana claims he wasn't involved

This June 15 report out of Louisiana reports that a man has been arrested in relation to the kidnapping of two alleged victims in two separate cases that took place near Tigerland. Those people were allegedly taken to other remote locations before being raped, according to the news. Rape charges and other sex offenses can be hard to defend yourself against, so it's important that you take the time to gather the evidence to back your claims. You have the right to seek a fair and proper trial.

In this case, the Baton Rouge police and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office booked a 22-year-old man for two counts of rape and two counts of second-degree kidnapping. They claim that he was connected to a rape in 2013 because of his vehicle. He was stopped near the Louisiana State University campus, but it wasn't reported on whether the two alleged victims were LSU students.

What police believe happened may or may not be the case. They claim that the 22-year-old man has been matched by DNA to a June 8 rape and another in July 2013. The first involved a woman who claims she blacked out at a bar and later got into a vehicle with three men to go home. She reportedly got in touch with her parents and sister while in the vehicle, but she reports that she was then taken from the vehicle and raped.

Close to a year later, a woman was given a ride by the 22-year-old man, according to the news. He allegedly raped her on River Road. The interesting thing about this case is that the man has allegedly admitted to the rape that happened in June, but he allegedly said that he had nothing to do with the 2013 case. Since that crime allegedly had multiple people involved, it could be difficult to pin the blame on one man.
